Ingredients
1 package frozen hashbrowns (about 20 oz)
1 lb sausage (regular or turkey)
8 large eggs
8 oz cream cheese (softened)
1 cup milk
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Cook sausage in a skillet until browned, then drain excess fat.
Prepare the hashbrowns in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
Mix the softened cream cheese, milk, salt, pepper, and garlic powder in a large bowl. Add eggs and blend.
Layer the cooked sausage over the hashbrowns, then pour the cream cheese mixture on top.
Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the casserole.
Bake for 40-45 minutes or until set and golden brown on top.
Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
