Sausage, Egg, and Cream Cheese Hashbrown Casserole

  • 1 package frozen hashbrowns (about 20 oz)

  • 1 lb sausage (regular or turkey)

  • 8 large eggs

  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)

  • 1 cup milk

  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

  • Salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

  • Cook sausage in a skillet until browned, then drain excess fat.

  • Prepare the hashbrowns in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.

  • Mix the softened cream cheese, milk, salt, pepper, and garlic powder in a large bowl. Add eggs and blend.

  • Layer the cooked sausage over the hashbrowns, then pour the cream cheese mixture on top.

  • Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the casserole.

  • Bake for 40-45 minutes or until set and golden brown on top.

  • Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
