Description
These PUFF PASTRY BRIE BITES are a quick and elegant appetizer made with flaky puff pastry, creamy brie cheese, sweet fruit jam, crunchy nuts, and fresh herbs. Perfect for holidays, parties, or last-minute entertaining, this recipe delivers big flavor with minimal effort.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
- 1 small wheel brie cheese, cut into small cubes
- 1/2 cup fruit jam (raspberry, cranberry, fig, or apricot)
- 1/3 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
- Fresh thyme or rosemary for garnish (optional)
- Flour for dusting
Instructions
- Prepare Oven and Pan: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a mini muffin pan.
- Cut the Puff Pastry: Lightly flour your surface. Unfold the thawed puff pastry and cut into 24 equal squares. Press each square gently into a mini muffin cup.
- Add the Brie: Place one cube of brie into each puff pastry cup.
- Add Jam: Spoon 1/2 teaspoon of jam over the brie.
- Add Nuts: Sprinkle chopped nuts over each bite.
- Bake: Bake for 12–15 minutes or until the pastry is golden and puffed.
- Cool and Garnish: Let cool for 5 minutes, then garnish with fresh thyme or rosemary.
- Serve: Serve warm for the best texture.
Notes
Keep the brie cold before slicing so it cuts cleanly. Avoid overfilling with jam to prevent overflow. If bites stick, gently loosen edges with a butter knife while warm. Reheat leftovers in an air fryer or oven for best crispiness.
