Ingredients
For the Cookie Base:

Instructions

Make the Sugar Cookie Base:

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

In another large bowl, beat butter and sugar until creamy. Add egg and vanilla.

Gradually mix in dry ingredients until a soft dough forms.

Chill dough for 30 minutes (optional, helps prevent spreading).

Scoop and roll into balls, flatten slightly, and place on a lined baking sheet.

Bake 10–12 minutes until edges are set. Let cool completely.

Make the Frosting:

Add powdered sugar and vanilla, beating until fluffy.
