Description

This easy Pear and Gorgonzola Flatbread is a sweet and savory treat with ripe pears, creamy gorgonzola cheese, and crunchy walnuts, all drizzled with honey. Perfect as an appetizer, light lunch, or a fancy snack.


Ingredients

  • 2 flatbreads or naan

  • 2 ripe pears, thinly sliced

  • ½ cup crumbled Gorgonzola cheese

  • ¼ cup chopped walnuts (optional)

  • 1 tablespoon honey

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • Fresh thyme leaves (optional)

  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

  • Place the flatbreads on a lined baking sheet.

  • Brush each flatbread with olive oil.

  • Layer with sliced pears.

  • Sprinkle gorgonzola cheese over the pears.

  • Add walnuts and fresh thyme if using.

  • Season with a little salt and pepper.

  • Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until edges are crispy and cheese is melted.

  • Drizzle with honey before serving.

  • Slice and enjoy warm.

 

Notes

  • For extra crunch, toast the walnuts beforehand.

  • If you don’t like blue cheese, swap it with goat cheese or feta.

  • A drizzle of balsamic glaze can add extra flavor.
