Description

This Peanut Butter Cup Dump Cake is the easiest, gooey-est, most chocolate-packed dessert you’ll ever make. With layers of chocolate cake mix, creamy peanut butter, sweetened condensed milk, and melty peanut butter cups, this rich treat comes together with almost no effort at all. Simply dump, bake, and enjoy a warm, indulgent slice of chocolate-peanut-butter heaven.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 1 can (12–14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream or whole milk
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter (warmed)
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk)
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped peanut butter cups
  • Optional: crushed pretzels, marshmallows, caramel drizzle

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare Your Dish: Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  3. Pour the Base: Add the sweetened condensed milk and heavy cream to the bottom of the dish.
  4. Add the Cake Mix: Sprinkle the chocolate cake mix evenly over the liquid—do not stir.
  5. Add Butter: Drizzle melted butter evenly across the cake mix.
  6. Add Peanut Butter: Warm the peanut butter and drizzle or dollop over the top.
  7. Top with Chocolate: Add chocolate chips and half of the chopped peanut butter cups.
  8. Bake: Bake for 40–45 minutes until edges are bubbly and center is mostly set.
  9. Finish: Let cool for 10 minutes. Add remaining peanut butter cups on top before serving.

Notes

For extra gooey texture, add an additional 1/4 cup heavy cream. Do not mix the layers—dump cakes bake best when ingredients stay stacked. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream for maximum richness.
