Description

A sweet and spicy peach salsa made with fresh ripe peaches, jalapeño, lime juice, and cilantro. Perfect as a summer dip, taco topper, or grilled meat side.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 ripe peaches, diced

  • ½ red onion, finely chopped

  • 1 jalapeño, minced (remove seeds for less heat)

  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro, chopped

  • Juice of 1 lime

  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions

Step 1: Dice the peaches into small, even pieces and place them in a medium bowl.
Step 2: Finely chop the red onion and jalapeño. Add to the bowl.
Step 3: Chop the cilantro and add it in.
Step 4: Squeeze in fresh lime juice and sprinkle with salt.
Step 5: Gently stir all the ingredients together.
Step 6: Let the salsa sit for 10–15 minutes before serving to let the flavors blend.

Notes

  • Use firm-ripe peaches so they hold their shape.

  • For a milder version, omit the jalapeño or substitute with a mild green pepper.

  • Pairs well with grilled chicken, tacos, pork chops, or tortilla chips.

  • Add-ins like diced tomato, mango, or corn offer creative twists.
