Ingredients
Scale
- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 2 cups white chocolate chips
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Pan: Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper, leaving extra hanging over the sides for easy removal.
- Mash the Bananas: In a bowl, mash ripe bananas until mostly smooth.
- Heat the Base: In a saucepan over low heat, combine mashed bananas, butter, and sweetened condensed milk. Stir constantly until warm and smooth. Do not boil.
- Melt the Chocolate: Remove from heat and stir in white chocolate chips until fully melted and creamy.
- Add Flavor: Mix in vanilla extract and nuts if using.
- Set the Fudge: Pour mixture into prepared pan, smooth the top, and refrigerate for 1–2 hours until firm.
- Slice and Serve: Lift out using parchment paper, cut into squares, and enjoy.
Notes
Use very ripe bananas for the best flavor. Keep heat low to prevent burning. For clean slices, chill fully and wipe the knife between cuts.
