Ingredients
- 1 pound pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- ½ cup marinara or pizza sauce
- 6 slices provolone cheese
- 6–8 slices Genoa salami
- 6–8 slices deli ham
- 6–8 slices pepperoni
- 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Optional: sautéed spinach, roasted peppers, olives, grated Parmesan
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Set your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the dough: On a floured surface, roll pizza dough into a 10×14-inch rectangle.
- Spread the sauce: Evenly spread marinara sauce over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border.
- Layer the fillings: Add provolone slices, salami, ham, pepperoni, and mozzarella. Sprinkle with oregano and garlic powder.
- Roll it up: Carefully roll the dough into a tight log starting from the long side. Seal the seam and tuck the ends underneath.
- Apply egg wash: Place seam-side down on the baking sheet. Brush with the beaten egg.
- Bake: Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- Cool and slice: Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing into pinwheel-style servings.
Notes
For extra crunch, sprinkle Parmesan cheese or sesame seeds on top before baking. To make ahead, assemble and refrigerate for up to 6 hours before baking. Let come to room temperature before placing in the oven.
