Ingredients
- 1 ball of pizza dough (homemade or store-bought)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 pound hot Italian sausage, cooked and crumbled (substitute chorizo, turkey sausage, or plant-based)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 2 tablespoons honey (or hot honey for extra spice)
- Red pepper flakes, to taste
- Fresh basil or arugula, optional for topping
Instructions
- Prepare the Dough: Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C). Roll out pizza dough on a floured surface into your desired shape and thickness.
- Cook the Sausage: In a skillet over medium heat, cook hot Italian sausage until browned and crumbled. Drain excess grease and set aside.
