Description

This honey roasted peaches recipe is one of the simplest peach recipes you can make—sweet, warm, and full of natural flavor. Roasting peaches with honey brings out their juices and makes a golden, caramelized glaze that’s perfect for breakfast, dessert, or a healthy snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 ripe peaches, halved and pitted

  • 4 teaspoons honey

  • 2 teaspoons butter or coconut oil

  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

  • Fresh mint or thyme (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Step 2: Slice peaches in half and remove pits. Leave the skins on.
Step 3: Place peach halves cut-side up in a baking dish.
Step 4: Drizzle each peach with honey and dot with a little butter or coconut oil.
Step 5: Sprinkle cinnamon and a drop of vanilla extract on each if using.
Step 6: Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes, until soft and golden.
Step 7: Optional: Broil for 1–2 extra minutes for more caramelization.
Step 8: Let cool slightly before serving. Spoon pan juices over the top.

Notes

  • Use peaches that are ripe but firm enough to hold their shape.

  • Maple syrup is a great substitute for honey in vegan versions.

  • Can be served warm, room temperature, or chilled.

  • Delicious over yogurt, pancakes, pound cake, or on their own.

  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
