These Honey Cinnamon Roll-Ups are the perfect sweet treat for breakfast, snacks, or dessert. Made with simple ingredients and ready in under 30 minutes, they’re golden, crispy on the outside, and gooey with honey and cinnamon on the inside. A warm, comforting, and kid-friendly recipe that’s easy to make and hard to resist!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 slices of white or whole wheat sandwich bread, crusts removed

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

  • 1/4 cup honey (plus extra for drizzling)

  • Optional fillings: cream cheese, chopped nuts, mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Prepare Cinnamon Sugar
In a small bowl, mix the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon. Set aside.

  3. Flatten the Bread
Using a rolling pin, flatten each slice of bread until thin.

  4. Add Filling (Optional)
Spread a small amount of cream cheese, nuts, or chocolate chips on the bread if desired.

  5. Add Honey
Drizzle a small amount of honey onto each flattened bread slice.

  6. Roll It Up
Roll each slice tightly from one end to the other.

  7. Brush with Butter
Brush the outsides of the roll-ups with melted butter and roll them in the cinnamon sugar mixture until evenly coated.

  8. Bake
Place the roll-ups on the baking sheet and bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

  9. Serve
Let cool slightly, then drizzle with extra honey before serving.

Notes

  • Substitute Tip: Use agave syrup or maple syrup instead of honey.

  • Kid-Friendly: Let kids help roll the bread and coat it in cinnamon sugar!

  • Serving Suggestion: Pair with warm milk, coffee, or hot cocoa for a cozy treat.
