Description

These High Protein Toasties with Brie, Cranberry, and Turkey combine creamy melted Brie, lean turkey, and a sweet-tart cranberry layer between golden, crispy slices of bread. It’s the perfect balance of flavor and nutrition — comforting, festive, and packed with protein for an energizing meal any time of day.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 slices whole-grain or high-protein bread
  • 6 oz cooked turkey breast slices (or chicken)
  • 2 oz Brie cheese, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons cranberry sauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil or butter (for toasting)
  • Handful of baby spinach or arugula (optional)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your pan or sandwich press: Heat it over medium heat and lightly coat with olive oil or butter.
  2. Prepare the bread: Spread a thin layer of cranberry sauce on one side of each bread slice.
  3. Layer the Brie and turkey: Place Brie slices and turkey on one slice of bread. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  4. Add greens (optional): Top with a small handful of spinach or arugula for freshness.
  5. Assemble and toast: Close the sandwich and lightly brush both outer sides with olive oil or butter. Toast for 3–5 minutes per side until golden and the cheese melts.
  6. Serve warm: Slice in half and enjoy immediately while the Brie is still melty and gooey.

Notes

For extra crunch, use sourdough or protein-packed bread. Add sliced apple or pear for a festive twist, or a touch of Dijon mustard for heat. To reheat, warm in an air fryer for 3–4 minutes or on a skillet over low heat to keep it crispy.
