Description

This Ham, Egg & Cheese Croissant Sandwich is a warm, buttery, café-style breakfast you can make at home in minutes. Flaky croissant, fluffy scrambled eggs, melty cheese, and savory ham come together for a satisfying and comforting morning meal. Perfect for busy weekdays or slow weekend brunches.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 large buttery croissant
  • 23 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 23 slices deli ham
  • 12 slices cheddar, Swiss, or American cheese
  • Optional: arugula or spinach
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prep the Croissant: Slice the croissant horizontally. Warm it in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 3–4 minutes for extra flakiness.
  2. Cook the Eggs: Whisk eggs in a bowl. Melt butter in a nonstick skillet over medium-low heat and slowly scramble the eggs until soft and fluffy. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Add the Cheese: Place cheese over the warm eggs and cover the pan briefly to melt it.
  4. Warm the Ham: Add ham slices to the pan for 10–20 seconds to heat through and enhance flavor.
  5. Assemble: Layer greens (optional) on the bottom half of the croissant. Add cheesy eggs on top. Layer the warmed ham and close the croissant.
  6. Serve: Enjoy warm with fresh fruit, coffee, or your favorite breakfast side.

Notes

For meal prep, assemble and wrap sandwiches tightly, then refrigerate for up to 2 days or freeze for up to 1 month. Reheat in a 325°F oven for best texture. Swap ham for turkey, bacon, or plant-based options, and feel free to add tomato, avocado, or caramelized onions for extra flavor.
