Ingredients
Scale
- 1 ½ cups shredded low-moisture mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoons cream cheese
- ¾ cup almond flour
- 1 large egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced (or ½ teaspoon garlic powder)
- 1 tablespoon butter or olive oil (for brushing)
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Melt the Cheese: Add mozzarella and cream cheese to a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until fully melted and smooth.
- Make the Dough: Add almond flour, egg, garlic, and salt to the melted cheese. Mix until a smooth dough forms.
- Shape the Naan: Divide dough into 4–6 pieces. Roll each piece between parchment paper into oval naan shapes.
- Cook: Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Cook naan for 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Add Garlic Butter: Brush warm naan with melted butter or olive oil and sprinkle with parsley.
Notes
For best results, use low-moisture mozzarella and avoid overheating the cheese. Keep heat at medium to prevent burning. These naan breads are best enjoyed warm but store well for later use.
