4 large eggs, lightly beaten
½ cup shredded Cheddar-Monterey Jack cheese blend
2 tablespoons red bell pepper, diced
1 green onion, chopped
1 pinch cayenne pepper (optional)
Instructions
Preheat and Prepare: Preheat your air fryer to 350°F. Spray a small round baking dish (that fits in your air fryer) with cooking spray.
Mix Ingredients: In a bowl, combine the eggs, sausage, cheese, red bell pepper, green onion, and a pinch of cayenne pepper (if using). Mix until well combined.
Pour & Smooth: Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish. Use a spoon to smooth the top evenly.
Cook in Air Fryer: Place the dish in the air fryer basket. Cook at 350°F for 10–12 minutes or until the frittata is puffed, golden, and set in the middle.
Cool & Serve: Let the frittata cool for 2–3 minutes before slicing. Serve warm with toast or a side of fruit.
Notes
Baking Dish Tip: Use a heat-safe dish like a 6-inch cake pan or ramekin.
Even Cooking: Check doneness with a toothpick—if it comes out clean, it’s ready.
Don’t Overcrowd: Ensure there’s space for air to circulate around the dish.
Serving Ideas: Serve with salsa, hot sauce, or a sprinkle of fresh herbs.
