Description

Easter Dirt Cups are fun, chocolatey treats layered with pudding and cookie crumbs, topped with festive Easter decorations!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 20 chocolate sandwich cookies (crushed)
  • 1 (3.9 oz) box instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 cup whipped topping (Cool Whip)
  • ½ cup shredded coconut (optional, dyed green)
  • ½ cup candy eggs (Cadbury Mini Eggs, M&M’s eggs)
  • 68 Peeps marshmallow chicks or bunnies
  • ½ cup gummy worms

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Pudding

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together instant chocolate pudding mix and cold milk until smooth.
  2. Let the pudding sit for 5 minutes to thicken.
  3. Gently fold in whipped topping for a lighter, fluffier texture.

Step 2: Crush the Cookies
4. Place chocolate sandwich cookies in a zip-top bag and crush them with a rolling pin (or use a food processor).
5. Keep some larger chunks for texture.

Step 3: Assemble the Easter Dirt Cups
6. In small cups, add a layer of crushed cookies at the bottom.
7. Spoon a layer of pudding on top.
8. Add another layer of crushed cookies to resemble dirt.

Step 4: Decorate
9. Top each cup with candy eggs, gummy worms, and a Peeps marshmallow chick or bunny.
10. If using dyed coconut grass, sprinkle it on top for a festive touch.

Step 5: Serve & Enjoy!
11. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to eat.
