Description

These Cranberry Turkey Sliders are the perfect mix of sweet, savory, warm, and melty. Made with soft slider rolls, tender turkey slices, creamy cheese, and a generous spread of tangy cranberry sauce, this easy baked slider recipe comes together in under 30 minutes. Whether you’re using holiday leftovers or starting fresh, these sliders make an ideal weeknight dinner, appetizer, or party dish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package Hawaiian rolls or slider buns
  • 1 pound sliced turkey (leftover or deli-style)
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce (homemade or canned)
  • 810 slices Swiss, provolone, or mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried herbs or Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds (optional)
  • Fresh parsley or chives for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prep the Rolls: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Leave the rolls connected and slice horizontally to create a top and bottom layer.
  2. Assemble the Bottom Layer: Place the bottom half of the rolls into a greased or parchment-lined baking dish.
  3. Add the Turkey: Layer sliced turkey evenly across the bottom rolls.
  4. Spread Cranberry Sauce: Spoon cranberry sauce over the turkey, spreading it evenly for sweet-tart flavor in every bite.
  5. Add the Cheese: Place slices of Swiss, provolone, or mozzarella on top of the cranberry layer.
  6. Finish with the Top Buns: Place the top half of the rolls back on.
  7. Brush with Butter Mixture: In a bowl, mix melted butter, garlic powder, dried herbs, and poppy seeds. Brush generously over the tops of the rolls.
  8. Bake to Golden Perfection: Bake for 20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the tops are lightly crisp and golden.
  9. Cool and Slice: Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving warm.

Notes

  • Prevent soggy sliders by adding a thin layer of cheese under the cranberry sauce.
  • To make ahead, fully assemble the sliders but wait to add the butter mixture until right before baking.
  • For a gourmet twist, use brie cheese or add thin apple slices.
