Description

These Christmas Magic Cookie Bars are the perfect festive treat—chewy, gooey, chocolatey, and loaded with holiday colors. With a buttery graham cracker crust, creamy sweetened condensed milk, and layers of chocolate chips, coconut, and sprinkles, these bars come together effortlessly in one pan. A fun, kid-friendly dessert for parties, cookie trays, and Christmas gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup shredded sweetened coconut (optional)
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (walnuts, pecans, or almonds)
  • 1 cup holiday M&M candies
  • 1/3 cup Christmas sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Pan: Line an 8×8 or 9×9 baking dish with parchment paper, leaving extra overhang on the sides for easy lifting.
  2. Build the Crust: Combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter in a bowl. Mix until fully coated and press firmly into the bottom of the pan.
  3. Add the Condensed Milk: Pour the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the crust, spreading it gently with a spatula.
  4. Layer the Fillings: Sprinkle chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, shredded coconut, and nuts evenly over the top.
  5. Add the Festive Toppings: Scatter holiday M&M candies and Christmas sprinkles over the surface. Press lightly with your hands to help everything stick.
  6. Bake: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until edges are golden and the center is set.
  7. Cool and Slice: Let the bars cool completely in the pan. Lift out with parchment paper and slice into squares.

Notes

For cleaner slices, chill the bars for 20 minutes before cutting. Swap graham cracker crumbs for gingersnap crumbs to add a warm holiday spice. These bars store well up to 5 days and can be frozen for longer.
