Description

These Cheesy Taco Cups Snack Bake are a fun, handheld twist on classic tacos. Made with biscuit dough, seasoned beef, melted cheese, and fresh toppings, they bake into golden, delicious bite-sized cups perfect for parties, snacks, or easy weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions or cilantro

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 350°F and lightly grease a muffin pan.
  2. Cook the Beef: Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it apart. Drain excess fat. Add taco seasoning and water, then cook until thickened.
  3. Prepare the Dough: Separate the biscuits. Flatten each one and press into the muffin cups to form small dough bowls.
  4. Add the Filling: Spoon the seasoned beef into each dough cup and top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  5. Bake: Bake for 12–15 minutes, until the biscuit edges are golden and the cheese is melted.
  6. Finish: Let cool slightly. Top each taco cup with sour cream, diced tomatoes, and green onions or cilantro.
  7. Serve: Enjoy warm as a snack, appetizer, or party dish.

Notes

Make the beef mixture ahead to save time. Swap in ground turkey or chicken for a lighter version. Add jalapeños or hot sauce for extra heat.
