Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons chopped green onions or cilantro
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 350°F and lightly grease a muffin pan.
- Cook the Beef: Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it apart. Drain excess fat. Add taco seasoning and water, then cook until thickened.
- Prepare the Dough: Separate the biscuits. Flatten each one and press into the muffin cups to form small dough bowls.
- Add the Filling: Spoon the seasoned beef into each dough cup and top with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Bake: Bake for 12–15 minutes, until the biscuit edges are golden and the cheese is melted.
- Finish: Let cool slightly. Top each taco cup with sour cream, diced tomatoes, and green onions or cilantro.
- Serve: Enjoy warm as a snack, appetizer, or party dish.
Notes
Make the beef mixture ahead to save time. Swap in ground turkey or chicken for a lighter version. Add jalapeños or hot sauce for extra heat.
