Description

This Air Fryer Turkey Breast is juicy, tender, and full of savory flavor. It cooks in under an hour and gives you golden, perfectly seasoned turkey without heating up the whole oven. It is perfect for holidays, easy weeknight dinners, or meal prep.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 turkey breast (2–4 lbs, boneless or bone-in)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary or thyme

Instructions

  1. Prep the Turkey: Pat the turkey breast dry with paper towels. Dry skin helps create a golden, crisp outside.
  2. Season: Rub olive oil or melted butter all over the turkey breast. Sprinkle salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and herbs evenly over all sides, pressing gently so the seasoning sticks.
  3. Preheat: Set the air fryer to 350°F (175°C) and let it preheat for a few minutes.
  4. Air Fry: Place the turkey breast skin-side up in the air fryer basket, leaving space around it for air to circulate. Cook for 20 minutes.
  5. Continue Cooking: Cook for another 25–35 minutes, checking every 10 minutes toward the end, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) in the thickest part of the breast.
  6. Rest: Remove the turkey from the air fryer and let it rest for 10 minutes. This helps keep the meat juicy when sliced.
  7. Slice & Serve: Slice the turkey breast against the grain into even slices and serve with mashed potatoes, vegetables, gravy, or your favorite sides.

Notes

If using a bone-in turkey breast, add 5–10 extra minutes of cook time and always rely on a meat thermometer to confirm it reaches 165°F (74°C). For more flavor, place softened herb butter under the skin before cooking. Leftover slices are great for sandwiches, salads, and meal prep.
