Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb fresh salmon fillets, skin removed and cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (or avocado oil)
- 2 tablespoons honey (or maple syrup)
- 2 tablespoons sriracha (adjust for spice level)
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder (or 1 clove fresh garlic, minced)
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds, for garnish (optional)
- 2 green onions, sliced, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Salmon: Pat salmon cubes dry with a paper towel for crispier results.
- Mix the Sauce: In a bowl, whisk together honey, sriracha, soy sauce, olive oil, and garlic powder.
- Marinate: Toss the salmon cubes in half of the sauce. Let marinate for 10 minutes if time allows.
- Air Fry: Preheat the air fryer to 390°F (200°C). Place salmon in a single layer in the basket and cook for 7–9 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Glaze: Toss the cooked salmon with the reserved sauce for extra flavor.
- Serve: Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions. Enjoy as an appetizer, over rice, or with roasted veggies.
Notes
Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket—cook in batches if needed. Adjust sriracha for spice level. For extra flavor, add a squeeze of lime juice before serving.
